A divided federal appeals court has reinstated a lawsuit challenging South Carolina's law banning video poker. A three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reversed U.S. District Court Judge David C. Norton's ruling that Jimmy Martin's lawsuit did not belong in federal court.
